Multimedia Library
The community includes a dedicated Multimedia Library for managing images and other media assets used across articles, pages, videos, and community branding.
Key Features
- Upload, view, and organise images and media files for use throughout the community
- All uploaded images are automatically converted to WebP and resized for optimal web performance
- Supports both direct uploads and importing media from external URLs
Content – Multimedia
The Multimedia section allows you to store and manage visual and media assets in one central place. These assets can then be used across articles, videos, pages, and other content types.
Adding New Multimedia
To upload a new media file:
- Go to Multimedia
- Click + Add Media
- A flyout window will open with all configuration options
Source - Upload File
- Choose a file from your computer or drag & drop it into the upload area
- Supported formats: PNG, JPG, GIF, WebP, MP4
External URL
- Import media directly from a web link
- Supported formats: PNG, JPG, GIF, WebP, MP4
Edit Options
- Resizing – automatically adjusts image dimensions for optimal performance
- Convert to WebP – reduces file size while maintaining quality
Describe
Provide descriptive information to help you organise and find media later:
- Name
- Description
- Tags
AI – The Name and Description fields will be automatically populated with AI-generated content based on the uploaded image. You can edit both fields as needed.
If you want to add descriptions after uploading the photos, you can use the AI Description option to generate descriptions for multiple selected photos at once.
Finish
Click Finish to save the media file and make it available for future use across the community.
