Composite Page
Composite Pages allow you to build mixed content pages by combining multiple components on a single canvas. They are perfect for creating rich landing pages or homepages.
What You Can Include
- Text blocks
- Event Integration components (speakers, sponsors, agenda items)
- Video embeds
- AI assistant widget
- FAQ component
- Registration links
- Other content blocks
How It Works
- Components are added and rearranged using drag and drop.
- You can mix event data, custom content, and media in any order.
Use Case Examples
- A homepage combining:
- Intro text
- Speaker carousel
- Sponsor grid
- Registration call to action
- An “Info” page that includes:
- AI assistant widget
- FAQ component
- Embedded video
Composite Pages are especially useful when using the community as your event website, replacing the default social feed as the first page visitors see.
Creating a Composite Page
Composite Pages allow you to build rich, mixed content layouts by combining elements from Event Integration Pages, Custom Pages, Articles, Videos, and more. They are ideal for creating homepages, landing pages, or multi-section informational pages.
To create a new Composite Page:
Click “New Composite Page”
Navigate to Pages in your community admin area and select New Composite Page. This opens the page creation form.
Fill in the Page Details
You will be asked to complete the following fields:
- Title - The name of the page as it will appear in navigation and at the top of the page.
- Slug - The URL friendly identifier for the page. It is autogenerated from the title but can be edited manually.
- Description - A short summary of the page’s purpose. This may appear in page listings or previews.
- Image - An optional featured image for the page. You can upload a new image or select one from the Browse Gallery.
- Language - Select the language for this page. Only languages enabled in your community will appear.
- Folder - (Optional) Choose a folder to organise your pages. Useful when managing many pages or grouping related content.

Add Page Elements
Composite Pages are built by adding components to the Page Elements area.
Initially, the page shows:
- Page Elements
- Element Tray
Below the canvas, you’ll find the Element Tray, which contains all available components:
- Event Pages (Agenda, Speakers, Sponsors, etc.)
- Custom Pages
- Articles
- Videos
You can drag and drop any element into the Page Elements area to build your layout.

Arrange and Configure Components
Once elements are added:
- Drag to reorder them
- Configure each component’s settings (if applicable)
- Combine multiple content types to create a rich, multisection page
Composite Pages give you full flexibility to design a dynamic, visually engaging layout.
