Gamification for Attendees
Gamification adds extra value to your event experience by turning participation into rewards. As an attendee, you can earn coins, claim giveaways, track your ranking, and stay motivated to explore more of the event.
Here’s what gamification offers you:
- Coins for Engagement – Earn coins by visiting booths, attending sessions, completing surveys, or joining activities.
- Giveaways and Prizes – Spend coins to claim giveaways (like swag items) or “purchase” entries for larger sponsor prizes.
- Leaderboard Access – View your ranking, track your progress on the live leaderboard, and enjoy the friendly competition.
- Motivation to Explore – Gamification encourages you to discover more of the event, interact with sponsors, and attend sessions you might otherwise miss.
- Enhanced Experience – Routine event activities become more interactive and fun, making your overall participation more memorable.
Accessing Gamification in the Mobile App
Gamification features are accessible directly through the event’s mobile app. Once logged in and the event becomes active, the app displays gamification options on the main screen.
Using the Coins, Sponsors, Giveaways & Prizes Tabs
To explore all gamification features:
Attendees can view available giveaways and sponsor prizes in the app and use their collected coins to claim or “purchase” them.
Go to the Coin tab at the bottom navigation bar. Here you’ll find options such as Coins, Sponsors, Giveaways, and Prizes.
Coins tab
In the Coins tab, you can:
- View the live leaderboard, including participant rankings, total coins collected, and your progress compared to others.
- Track how many coins you have earned.
- Review how coins have been spent
- See your current balance.
This provides a clear overview of your activity and rewards, helping you manage participation and plan how to use your coins for giveaways or prizes.
Sponsors tab
In the Sponsors tab, you can see all participating sponsors who are “selling” their giveaways and prizes. By clicking on a sponsor, you can access detailed information about the items they are offering, including descriptions, images, and any conditions for claiming them. This helps you learn what rewards each sponsor offers and where to go to claim them.
Giveaways tab
The Giveaways tab displays the complete list of available giveaways. Each giveaway includes the item details, its coin value, and the name of the sponsoring organization. This allows you to browse all available swag and decide how to spend your earned coins.
Prizes tab
In the Prizes tab, you can view the full list of prizes available during the event. Each prize entry includes details such as the item name, its coin value, the sponsoring organization, and the scheduled time and location of the prize drawing. This section helps you plan which prize drawings you want to participate in.
