Managing Sponsor Booth Events (for Organizers)

Sponsor Booth Events allow sponsors to create and manage their own mini‑events directly from their Sponsorship Dashboard. These activities help sponsors attract attendees, showcase products, and increase booth engagement throughout the event.

Booth Events can include product demos, presentations, meet‑and‑greets, prize drawings, or any other activity designed to drive traffic to the sponsor’s booth.


Visibility in the Mobile App

Booth Events appear in the mobile app under the Connect button/label inside the Social tab. This placement ensures attendees can easily discover, join, and engage with sponsor‑hosted activities.

Booth Events Tab in the Admin Panel

To access and manage Booth Events from the admin side:

Go to: Sponsor → Sponsorships → Select a Sponsor → Booth Events tab

The Booth Events tab displays all Booth Events created by the sponsor through their Sponsorship Dashboard. Each event includes a summary of key details:

  • Event Name — The title of the booth event.
  • Description — A short explanation of what the event is about.
  • Start Date — The date when the booth event begins.
  • End Date — The date when the booth event ends.
  • Timing — The exact time or time range for the activity.
  • Location — Where the booth event will take place (e.g., “Booth #14”, “Expo Hall A”).
  • Registered Attendees & Availability — Shows the number of registered attendees and a participation limit.
  • Prize Name — Visible if the sponsor enabled the Prize Drawing option.

 


Deleting a Booth Event

From the Booth Events tab, administrators can delete a Booth Event if necessary. This action removes the event from both the Sponsorship Dashboard and the mobile app.

 


Turning Sponsor Booth Events On or Off

The run.events platform allows event organizers to globally enable or disable Booth Events.

Go to: Settings → Configuration Settings → Allow booth events

When this setting is turned on, sponsors can create Booth Events in their Sponsorship Dashboard, and attendees will see them in the mobile app. When turned off, the feature is disabled across the platform, and the mobile app will reflect the change.
