Registration / Ticket Order Flow

Access the Ticket Widget

Visit the event website and navigate to the page featuring the embedded run.events ticket widget. This widget displays all available ticket types along with their pricing details.

For accessibility, attendees can also use the Tab and Enter keys to move through fields and menus efficiently.


Select ticket type

  • Choose the ticket type that best suits your needs.
  • Select the desired number of tickets.
  • If applicable, enter a voucher code or take advantage of group or tiered pricing options


Place Your Order

After selecting one or more tickets, click Place Order to proceed to the checkout process.

 


Payment & Invoice (for Paid Events)

Attendees complete their registration by paying for the selected ticket(s) during checkout.

Tickets can be ordered either as an Individual or on behalf of an Organization, depending on the attendee’s preference.


Ordering 

To complete your ticket order as an individual, you will need to provide your personal information, including:

  • Full name and Email address
  • Contact details
  • Any additional fields required by the event organizer

If registering as an organization, in addition to the previously mentioned details, you must also provide:

  • Organization address
  • Tax details



Important note: Invoices/Orders editing

If you need to include additional text such as a PO# (purchase order number), enter this information in the Free Text field during the attendee online registration and ticketing process. This field is available in the Payment step when purchasing a ticket, and any text added here will appear on the final invoice.


Accepting Agreement Documents

As part of the ticket order process, attendees must review and accept the event’s agreement documents, such as:

  • Terms and Conditions
  • Privacy Policy

Email Confirmation

To complete your registration, you’ll be required to confirm your email address. This ensures secure communication and allows you to receive your ticket and event updates.

 


Select Your Payment Method

Choose your preferred payment method from the available options.

All payment methods are defined by the event organizer and may include credit card, bank transfer, or other supported platforms.

 

Complete Your Payment

After selecting your preferred payment method, carefully read the provided payment instructions.

Once ready, click Confirm Purchase or Pay, and then click Next to finalize your order.


Invoicing

Once the purchase is completed, the system automatically sends an invoice via email with the invoice attached.

If configured by event organizers, the system also manages refunds and cancellations according to the defined policies.

Fill Out Registration Form / Attendee Information

Attendees must provide personal details, including:

  • Full name
  • Contact information (e.g., email, phone number)
  • Country
  • Company and job title (if applicable)
  • Any additional custom fields defined by the event organizers (e.g., dietary preferences, session interests, or accessibility needs)

Ticket Assignment Scenarios

Scenario 1: This Ticket Is for Me

Enter your required details and complete the registration form with your personal information.

Once all fields are filled out, click Assign Ticket to link the ticket to your profile.

Scenario 2: This Ticket Is for Someone Else

Provide the required basic details for the attendee who will receive the ticket.

Once completed, click Assign Ticket to finalize the assignment.

Optional: Fill Out Their Registration Form

After assigning the ticket to someone else, you may also choose to fill out their registration form on their behalf. This includes entering their personal details and any required custom fields defined by the event organizers.

Confirmation & Ticket Delivery

After completing the registration and payment process, the attendee receives a confirmation email.

This email includes a digital ticket featuring a QR code, which may also be accessible via the event’s mobile app and through an attendee’s dashboard.

The QR code is required for check-in at the conference, serving as proof of ticket purchase.

Pre-Event Reminders & Modifications

Attendees may receive reminder notifications before the event to stay informed and prepared.

For more details and available options, log in to the run.events platform and visit My Dashboard where you can:

  • Update your personal information
  • Transfer your ticket to another person
